Mini Cooper/S

  • Solo 2 Stock Class Level II

    This final stage maximizes your impact within the autocross stock class. In fact, after theses modifications combined with level I, anyone except the most hard-core SCCA motor heads would deem your car far from stock. Rest assured that dodging cones, on the open track, or driving to work your vehicle will far exceed anything the manufacturer had intended.

    Koni Sport Shocks

    These multi-point adjustable sport absorbers at max settings provide much more aggressive dampening for your stock spring limitations. {For those with more suspension tuning experience and less fear of fabrication, we have the Koni 8611 double adjustable inserts. These high-end absorbers are used by nearly every nationally competitive stock class vehicle for unsurpassed fine tuning since compression and rebound can be adjusted separately. This allows for maximum spring rate since legally in stock class you cannot change the springs themselves. Contact us for instructions on measuring properly for these Koni 8611 inserts.}

    M7 Tuning Cat-Back Exhaust System
    (COMING SOON - CURRENTLY NOT INCLUDED IN PACKAGE)

    These exhaust systems from M7 Tuning are brand new for 2006. They are all mandrel bent stainless steel construction in a one-sided configuration (one muffler). Due to this method of construction, it only weighs around 20 pounds helping to put your Mini on a diet. M7 had each muffler is built to their specs in a straight-through fashion. They are flat topped making for higher placement and maximum ground clearance. These systems have variable tuned tubing using CFD (3” to 2.25”) to avoid annoying buzzy resonance and loss of low end torque found with some other systems. Tips are available in polished stainless or black powder coated for an aggressive look.

    M7 Tuning 180 Degree Thermostat

    Gain power by preventing the engine from running as hot as normal. This is a great addition that is legal by stock class standards, cheap, and helps prevent heat sinking of the small OEM intercooler and intake system. Safety and performance at a low price.

    EBC Yellow Brake Pads (front)

    The EBC Yellow pad is the official choice for the Subaru challenge. This pad is has EBC’s highest friction rating and is designated for race and aggressive street driving. These pads are Kevlar style and do not destroy rotors for fun like some “race” pads. These are generally low on the dust/squeak spectrum when compared to other race pads; they also bite decent when cold. Unlike factory pads, these will not fade after the first lap. If you like to race different tracks and types of motorsports this is your cross-trainer.

    Koni 8611 Double Adjustable Race Inserts

    Please call or email to substitute your standard Koni Sport Struts for Koni 8611 Strut Inserts straight from Koni’s race division. For packages not including struts due to availability, these are universal fitment and should work assuming proper measurement and fabrication.

    Standard Koni Sport dampers are multiple point rebound adjustable and a great upgrade from stock or for managing lowered vehicles (in other autocross classes). They are rebuildable and revalvable for many different situations and can even be converted to double adjustable for a charge.

    Koni 8611’s are double-adjustable (rebound and compression) that are very popular amongst autocross and track racers in North America. They have all of the features of the standard Sport strut but because you can adjust greater compression rates they can act as race springs for classes that only allow strut replacements. These do require proper measuring and in some cases fabrication to fit original strut housing but for those who wish to fabricate they give a serious performance advantage. These struts are seen in MANY top national competing vehicles. These are not for those looking for a slightly firmer ride who autocross twice a year.

    These cost $259.95 each ($1039.80 / set). Substituting these for standard Koni Sport dampers will cost an additional $394.75 for vehicles built before 3/1/2002 and $359.85 for vehicles built after 3/1/2002.

    If you have any questions about measurement, pricing, or if these are recommended for your specific situation...please contact us via phone or email prior to purchasing.
