Mini Cooper/S

  • Solo 2 Stock Class Level I

The Mini Cooper and Cooper S have helped reinvent the idea of front wheel drive performance since their introduction. Stiff springs, short wheel bases, and aggressive drivers have kept others on their toes. At every national event you will find Mini’s setting records.

These packages are designed for those who drive their vehicles on a daily basis but want more competitive performance on the track. Due to the strict regulations of the SCCA, owners of these packages have no fear being bumped from their class even at national level.

While these are designed around Solo 2 autocross standards, they will also help your vehicle perform well on an open track or the drive to work.

    H-Sport Front Sway Bar

H Sport now offers its tubular front sway bar for the Mini. Two-position adjustable, this tubular front bar is perfect for those who want to dramatically decrease front roll while at the same time, transforming the initial steering input from fairly vague to very precise. H Sport recommends one of its two rear bars for this application if your Mini sees track day time. The kit comes complete with polyurethane bushings, bushing brackets and zerk fittings for easy occasional lube. The sway bar itself is brilliant black powder coated.

    Alta Front End Links

These front links are extremely strong compared to the factory units and are adjustable too. They feature 6061 powder coated aluminum rods and aircraft quality Teflon lined spherical studded rod ends. Price is for one set of front end links.

    Alta Panel Filter

High flowing panel filter replacement. In stock class you cannot change the factory intake box. These are very easy to clean and oil making them good for years of use.

    CG-Lock

Autocross and track events throw you around pretty bad (especially with typical seat bolstering). A great/cheap way to prevent this is to clip a CG-Lock on your seat belt and cinch it down. Besides being more comfortable, your times will improve because you’re spending less time bracing yourself and trying to regain a proper driving position. These are not considered “life saving” devices such as seat belts, ABS brakes, or air bags…However, they have been crash tested by CG-Lock and stand up great.

    G-Force 750 Open Face Helmet

In order to race, you will need to get a helmet of some type that is Snell SA2005 certified. This is a popular choice for the local racers and has a great price for the budget conscious. This helmet a lightweight fiberglass shell with a CoolTec liner. It has top and rear vents for extra cooling.
